Hello everyone:)
Time for my update.
I initially wanted to blog at Nepal,
but it turns out even their broadband is super
slow.
Here are the highlights
of my Nepal trip.

The food on Silk air was great.
I will have a second post all about the
food there soon.

On the first day there,
we visited the Tibetan Refugee camp.

Where we could see them hand weave these
amazing mats.
Each costs like USD$100

We then visited the artistic
part of town .
Where shops where selling many
of these carvings.
Not only wooden ones but
silver and gold as well.

Next was Partan square.
Where the old Palace is,
it is now more like a market.
It had a mix of the old housing designs
and the more modern stuff
it was really cool.

Random pics at the hotel,
We could see the silver lining as the sun was behind the clouds
very often due to the amount of dust there.

The next thing I would like to talk about is
Thamel.
the Orchard road of Nepal.

Binod,Pratiksha and baby Prabisha

They sell tons of things .
From bags ,toys,clothes and many more.
Most of the shops sell Pashmina and trekking gear.
Not to mention the tourist trap,
postcards and frige magnets.

The next highlight is Pokarah(paisei dunno how spell)
The trip there was a super long 6 hrs
as we had to go through these "hills"
They are supposed to be hills but they seem like mountains.

This is the seki river gorge.
It was like super scary to see.
It was really really loud there,
the force of the water was uber strong.

Now this is Devi's falls,
Some poor woman name Devi fell in here and died,
thats why it as named after her.
heheheheheheh

These are pics of the caves under the falls,
its was supet dark there the whole tunnel system
only had like 8 lightbulbs.

This would be lake Pokarah.
super nice place,
all was quiet except my bro's noise.

Now to talk about the climb to Dhampus 6.
you guys would never believe me
but I Jephthah have climbed 1700 m.
muahahhahahaha

On the way up we saw these huge DIY swings,
made from 4 huge bamboo stalks.

The climb was quite tiring but the steps were quite easy
to walk.

When we reached the top after trekking
for 3 plus hours.
The view was WOW WOW WOW!!!!!

As you can see how "Lok kok" or "Low Class"
the rooms are.

This guy beside my mom is the porter
who carried our stuff.
I asked him if it was difficult he siad
"Ok Ok e..a..s..y"
AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR
So pro can!!!
He said usually he had to carry 40+kg
but we only had 20+kg.
he still can say very slack....

Next destination to CHitwan national park.
heheheheh
This is the fun part.

River ride and jungle walk.
I could not take many pics as the animals were too far away to take
plus my camera not powerful enough.

Elephant safari,
that was truly fun.
not comfortable but fun anyway.

The culture show there

Cable car ride on our way back to Kathmandu.

Now not many stuff to see ,
but on our second week there we had it free and easy
so we could go meet our friends there.
First was the Kids party

It was held at Jerome's and Arthrs' backyard

Next was a slight change of plan,
we decided to go with Chal to his home town in Shivapuri national park.
He said that the view was amazing.

We never knew it would be sooooo hard.
He said it would take 3 hrs.

There is the super human Chal on the right side.
And our clueless Binod on the left.

At night the clouds rolled our the hills
And in the morning where below us.

As our dear aunties,
could not "Ta han"
going down even after resting for a day.
We decided to take a geep down.
Problem1:The geep did not want to come all the way up,
so we hired a truck to go down to meet the geep.
Meanwhile a Canadian couple wanted to hop in
so we said Ok.

ProBlem 2:LANDSIDE !!!
Huh now we all had to walk down.
As the truck did not wan to get stuck.

Problem3:I twisted my ancle aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrr pain!!!!

Problem 4: The geep broke down.
The fuel pump gave way.
AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR
Then we had to walk 10+km
to reach a van.

Problem 5: The Van got stuck at a river and could not cross it
We then had to wait another
2hrs for a Land cruiser to arrive.

My take on Nepal:
Its a wonderful place to go.
The people are all very friendy
The food is great.
The view of the mountains are amzing.
If only it was cleaner.
